Getting from Split Airport to the Centre

Most of the tourists that are coming to visit Split via plane will end up being on Split Airport but most of the people won’t even realize how far Split Airport actually is from the Split center itself. Distance between Split airport and Split center is 23 kilometers!

Best options To Get From Split Airpor to the Centre

You have couple options to go with.

Public bus (number 37) – Ticket should go around 3-4€ and those buses will come and go every 20-30 minutes depending on the time of the year. This is slowest and cheapest option to get to the center!

Taxi (Uber recommended!) – Once you leave airport you will see bunch of taxi drivers waiting for the clients to come to their car or they will even come to you to lure you in. We advise using Uber for the best rates with least risk for a popular taxi scam! Uber should not exceed 50€ in high season. Usually its around 25-35€. This is fastest option to get to the center!

Shuttle Bus – Once you leave airport you will probably see Shuttle Bus picking up passangers. This bus won’t leave untill its full or almost full. Price for this bus is around 6-8€.
